The Invisible Heroes of COVID-19

In honour of the men and women who keep our economy going during the circuit breaker.

Essential workers do more than take care of our physiological and safety needs.

Essential workers stock our shelves at supermarkets, repair our computers, nurse our sick, clean our streets, and ferry us to where we need to be.

Essential workers provide us with a semblance of the convenience and comforts we used to have before this pandemic.

However.

These are the workers many of us fail to notice during the day to day running of our lives.

These are the invisible ones.

These are the workers we need to honour.

Now and always.

To all the workers whom I crossed paths with today…

Thank you.

Thank you for being here for us.
