Care For The Elderly
Thanks to the donation from the NTUC-U Care Fund to the Eldercare Trust, Mr Teng Chit Seng, 66 has been able to enjoy the facilities and care given by NTUC Health’s Silver Circle.
Mr Teng, who is single, currently lives in a HDB flat left behind by his deceased parents. Concerned about him being alone, Mr Teng’s sister decided to send him to Silver Circle for day care support.
Without an income, Mr Teng relies on his sister to pay his bills and provide him with a monthly allowance. On weekends, other Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) provide food and necessary items to his home.
