More financial and daily necessities support specially for workers in need.

From Government Budget 2020

  • $3,000 cash payout under Workfare Special Payment, for workers who had already received Workfare Income Supplement payment previously in 2019
    – $1,500 in July; $1,500 in October
  • Enhanced Silver Support Scheme – higher quarterly payout of up to $900 to lower-income seniors
  • $1,000 bursaries for pre-university students from lower-income families
  • Temporary Relief Fund to provide immediate financial assistance of $500
    (You may apply at all SSOs and Community Clubs or visit here for more details)
  • Up to $200 a year in cash bursary quantum for full-time ITE students
  • $600 / $900 / $1,200 for Singaporeans aged 21 and above (includes $300 Solidarity Payment)
  • Additional $300 for each parent (with at least 1 child aged below 20 in 2020)
  • $100 Passion Card top-up in cash for Singaporeans aged 50 and above in June
  • Assurance Package when GST rate increases in the future – cash payout of $700 to $1,600 over 5 years
  • Up to 2 months’ salary (capped at $4,600) via Enhanced Short-Term Relief Fund for workers whose employers are unable to pay wages due to financial difficulties or business failure

  • Grocery vouchers of $300 in 2020; $100 in 2021
  • 3 months suspension of late payment charges on HDB mortgage arrears
  • Service and Conservancy Charges (S&CC) rebate for 1 year
  • Increased transport subsidies for students
  • Increased school meals subsidies for secondary school students

  • SkillsFuture Credit
    – $500 SkillsFuture Credit top-up for every Singaporean aged 25 and above
    – Additional $500 SkillsFuture Credit for Singaporeans aged 40 to 60

SkillsFuture Credits top-up will be automatic.

  • One-off payout of up to $300 under NTUC Care Fund (COVID-19) More Details
  • $250 NTUC FairPrice vouchers per child from CAP+Ure Fund More Details
  • Union Education and Bursary Awards (Please apply via your respective unions)
  • Tap on NTUC’s e2i services such as career trial, career coaching and skills workshops More Details
  • $250 fee support per year from NTUC Training Fund (UTAP) More Details
  • $500 customised training support from LIFT-UP Pathfinder (Please apply via your respective unions)
